I am a board member of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF), an organization deeply committed to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by inheritable blood and bleeding disorders. As someone who has been actively involved with NBDF since 2013, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact our programs have on this community.

Recent challenges, including healthcare budget cuts and evolving policies, have presented significant hurdles to maintaining the vital services NBDF provides. To ensure the continued success of our mission, we are launching Educate to Elevate, a multi-year initiative designed to significantly advance our understanding and treatment of these conditions.

Educate to Elevate is a multifaceted campaign designed to raise awareness and promote early diagnosis – a critical factor in accessing timely and effective care. This initiative will leverage various social media platforms, fostering a much-needed dialogue about the physical, emotional, and financial challenges faced by families impacted by inheritable bleeding disorders such as hemophilia.
